What documents do I need to present for loan?
Personal Loan
- 6 months most recent bank statement
- Applicant’s Valid Photograph ID Card (Int’l Passport/Driver’s License Preferable).
- Applicants signed cheques covering principal and interest.
- 2 suitable guarantors (at least 1 in corporate employment) along with their Valid Photograph ID Card
- Guarantors signed Cheques covering principal and interest.
Business loan
- Company’s Incorporation documents – CAC 2 & CAC 7, Certificate of Incorporation and MEM/ART.
- Applicant’s Valid Photograph ID Card (Int’l Passport/Driver’s License Preferable).
- Board Resolution naming those authorised to act on behalf of the company, with company SEAL crested on it.
- 6 months most recent company bank account statement.
- 2 suitable guarantors (at least 1 in corporate employment) along with their Valid Photograph ID Card.
- Guarantor’s signed cheques covering principal and interest.
- Original Title Documents to be used as collateral where applicable.
- Evidence or reason for loan where applicable such as LPO document/Contract Award Document/Bill of Lading/Bill of Quantity and/or any other supporting documents to the transaction.

What is the minimum and maximum loan tenor?
Wakacredit gives short term flexible loans that ranges from 1 month - 12 months.
What happens when I miss one or more monthly payments?
We charge a delay fee, however failure to meet agreed repayments could adversely affect your credit rating making it difficult to access future loans from Wakacredit or any other financial institutions.
